Have You Ever Asked the Question, Who Am I Now?

Ciao Amici

A couple of months ago a friend, knowing how much I love books, particularly memoir and to be in the company of interesting women, invited me to a book signing of a newly published author, Isabel Banerjee.

The signing was in the evening and the author was to do a short reading. While it all sounded great, I dislike going out at night. Yep, I’ve hit that place where night driving sucks. Honestly, I never really enjoyed driving at night. So, I hesitated. Then my friend mentioned the title: Who Am I Now? Feminine Wisdom Unmasked Uncensored.

So, I flipped my headlights to bright because we live in the boonies, and I ventured out. The introverted nighttime driver, me, and a bottle of wine.

Greeted warmly at the door by the homeowner, I was ushered into the kitchen/family room. A stunning blonde woman turned her gaze and I immediately recognized a kindred spirit, a Breakaway Girl

As the evening progressed, several women joined the group and conversation flowed easily.

I purchased Isabel’s book and the next evening began reading my signed copy of, Who Am I Now?  I’m delighted to say it’s chockful of insight, humor, and practical tips on how to gain clarity for who you’ve become and who you want to become. It’s what we in our Breakaway community call “living your legacy”.

There are many reasons I applaud and support Who Am I Now? One, it’s not only for women, but for men as well. Plus, it’s a book I believe that women in their 30’s, 40’s, 50’s and beyond will find helpful as they navigate the different passages of their lives.

I’m super excited to share with you on this Sacred Sunday the great conversation Isabel and I had this week on The Breakaway Academy Radio Show.
